(Cricket) Augustus for people who may have seen him after a birthday celebration to come forward.

Mr. Augustus left the Swinging Doors nightclub on Court Street during the early hours of Sunday, March 5.

Two days later, his body was found at about 6.30 p.m. in a canal bordering Bernard Park.

While Police ruled out foul play following an autopsy, they have continued inquiries into the circumstances of the 25-year-old's death. And a file was expected to be forwarded to the Coroner's office.

Yesterday, Police said the investigating officer would like to speak to anyone who may have seen Mr. Augustus early on March 5.

And they said family members were told by witnesses that Mr. Augustus was "extremely drunk'' when he left Swinging Doors and "would have been staggering as he walked''.

"It is hoped that this information may jog the memories of anyone who may have seen him,'' Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said.

Mr. Augustus was described as dark skinned, five-feet, 11-inches tall, 210 pounds and was wearing a light blue denim jacket and jeans.

Anyone who may have seen a person fitting that description and "possibly staggering'' anywhere from Swinging Doors on Court Street to Dutton Avenue was asked to contact Sgt. John Dale at 295-0011.
