Woman fined for cocaine possession

Suzanne Whitecross, of Orange Valley, pleaded guilty to possessing .67 grams of 98-percent pure cocaine on August 2.

Prosecutor Sgt. John Dale said officers were on duty on Perimeter Lane in Pembroke around 1.30 p.m. when they saw Whitecross and noticed that she was acting in a nervous manner.

When Police approached her they discovered that she had three white rocks of cocaine in her shirt pocket.

Sgt. Dale said Whitecross told Police "it's not for me''.

Whitecross' lawyer Mr. Michael Scott said she was sent "on an errand'' on behalf of her boyfriend and her half-brother.
