And she also told the jury that she felt comfortable with the two men for part of the night and even sat on a box in a paddock on Vesey Street, Devonshire of her own volition.

She later alleged that one of the men sexually assaulted her on the box while the other had his hand over her mouth.

But she denied ever consenting to sex with either of the accused men in exchange for a ride home.

The 29-year-old woman alleges that the two men, who were aged 19 and 17 at the time of the December 11, 1994 incident, seriously sexually assaulted her at the equestrian centre on Vesey Street.

The woman told the court that she visited several Hamilton night spots and throughout the evening consumed a few drinks.

After making her way to the Elbow Beach Staff Club, the jury heard that the woman -- after failing to find a cab around 4 a.m. -- hitched a ride with one of the men, who were on separate motorcycles.

Despite sexual advances by the man who was towing her, the woman continued to travel with the men.

After riding for an unknown time, the woman said she fell off the bike when it came to an "abrupt'' halt in an unfamiliar area.

The woman testified that the thinner of the two men removed her jeans, while the bigger man held his hand over her mouth, and raped her.
