The accident took place at McGall's Hill in Smith Parish a few minutes before 8 p.m.

According to Police, there were three vehicles involved in the pile-up and the Fire Department were called in to assist after it was discovered that one of the accident victims was trapped in an upside down car. Despite the dramatic rescue, however, there were no injuries reported. The woman was taken to hospital for a check-up and was released later, apparently in good health.
