after settling a claim arising from a woman's drowning on one of his trips.

Mr. Michael Heslop of Fantasea Diving has filed a Supreme Court writ against BF&M General Insurance Company Ltd.

Mr. Heslop declined to discuss the matter when contacted by The Royal Gazette . But he did not deny that the claim against BF&M related to the settlement he recently made with the family of Mrs. Eileen Frymann of Nottingham, England.

Mrs. Frymann drowned in a Fantasea scuba diving accident in 1992. Her husband Peter, who was on the ill-fated diving trip along with the couple's daughter, brought a Supreme Court action against Mr. Heslop in 1993, alleging negligence.

Mr. Heslop recently settled out of court with Mr. Frymann for an undisclosed amount.

BF&M had reportedly refused to cover Mr. Heslop's insurance claim because he had not required Mrs. Frymann to sign a claims waiver.

Mr. Heslop recently said he had taken legal advice on whether to proceed against BF&M.

Mr. Timothy Marshall, lawyer for Mr. Heslop, could not be reached for comment yesterday.
