The 54-year-old man, from the United Kingdom, is thought to have gone into a coma on board the Chemerico , Police say.

A US naval helicopter flew out to the yacht on Friday afternoon, about 30 miles north of the Island.

The man was pronounced dead a few hours later at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The vessel dropped anchor at St. George's following the airlift.
