stealing a Bermuda College student's Yamaha motorcycle and altering its appearance for his own use.

Glenn Seon Fox of Aurora Lane pleaded guilty in Magistrates' court on Tuesday to removing the cycle from the Stonington campus parking lot.

Sgt. Peter Giles, prosecuting, said the bike was parked at the college around 8 a.m. on October 28, but when the owner returned at 5 p.m it was missing.

Acting on information gathered during their inquiries, Police interviewed Fox on December 8.

They inspected his Yamaha motorcycle, and found that the numbers stamped into the frame and engine had been altered.

Under questioning, and in the presence of his father, Fox admitted taking the cycle, re-stamping the numbers and painting the frame black.

He is scheduled to appear for sentencing in two weeks.
