Police confirmed that two sudden deaths in March were not suspicious.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) partner Peter Mitchel, 55, was found in an unresponsive state at his home on March 6.

An on-call physician pronounced Mr. Mitchell dead at the scene and a forensic pathologist has determined that his death is not suspicious.

A Police spokesman added: "Therefore there is no further Police action required. The Bermuda Police Service again extends sincere condolences to the Mitchell family on the untimely passing of their loved one."

The Police also extended their condolences to the family of 38-year-old Shawn Woolridge of Smith's parish.

"The autopsy of 38 year old Shawn Woolridge is now complete and the forensic pathologist has determined that his death is not suspicious," the Police added.

Three serious road accidents over the weekend

Three serious accidents took place over the weekend.

The first took place on Mullet Bay Road in St. George's at 1.40 p.m. Friday

A 39-year-old Warwick man was arrested after he lost control of his car and collided with a utility pole.

The driver was not injured; however the car received extensive front end damage and the utility pole was broken at its base.

The Warwick man was subsequently located by officers and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after driving away from the scene of the collision. At 2.45 a.m. on Saturday, Police attended a single vehicle crash at the junction of North Shore Road and Barkers Hill in Devonshire.

The 51-year-old Pembroke woman was driving west on North Shore Road when she lost control. As a result the vehicle collided with a roundabout. The driver was not injured; however the car was extensively damaged.

Later Saturday morning a 24-year-old Devonshire man overturned his car when he hit a foot path on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish near Harrington Sound Post Office at 3.30 a.m.

Hotel Association to host job fair tomorrow

Bermudians are encouraged to attend a hospitality industry job fair tomorrow.

The Bermuda Hotel Association is inviting potential employees to the Hamilton Princess between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

John Harvey, BHA CEO, said: "We look forward to greeting those Bermudians who wish to be employed in the hotel industry and encourage those who are seriously interested, to attend the Job/Career Fair."

Kelliann Smith, chairwoman of the BHA Human Development/Training Committee, said: "As the 2010 tourist season approaches, hotels will need to employ persons in various areas to service our guests, and our preference is to engage as many Bermudians, who are willing and able to fulfil the responsibilities of the jobs that are presently available.

"This could be in housekeeping, food and beverage, front desk, engineering and more."

Police to hold second town hall meeting

The Bermuda Police Service is hosting its second in a series of town hall meetings tomorrow.

Area commander, Chief Inspector Tracy Adams will chair the meeting at Francis Patton School.

Residents of the eastern parishes Smith's, Hamilton Parish and St. George's are invited. The meeting starts at 6.30 p.m.

A Police spokesman said: "As outlined in the Bermuda Police Service Policing Plan 2010, citizen focus is high on our agenda.

"The basis of citizen focus is to obtain a clear understanding of what members of the public want; what matters the most and what is important to individual neighbourhoods and communities.

"We look forward to seeing as many eastern parish residents as possible in attendance."
