A St. George's man sustained injuries to his face and body after he lost control of his cycle and collided with a sidewalk.

Police attended the reported single vehicle road traffic collision at 3.40 a.m. yesterday at the junction of Lane Hill and Cavendish Road in Pembroke.

It appears the cycle was travelling east on Lane Hill when the 26-year-old man crashed. He was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital for treatment.

The motorcycle received minor damage.
