Christmas Day got off to a bad start for one family when they discovered thieves had broken in and stolen a bottle of wine.

Two Blackberry Curve cell phones were also taken in the incident at Shawn Acres Lane, Southampton, between 11.30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and midnight on Christmas Day morning.
