Free CableVision channels are back.

Bermuda CableVision is renewing its tradition of offering customers a free television preview over the holidays this year starting on Friday at 5 p.m. and running through January 5 at 8 a.m.

During those dates, all CableVision television subscribers will be able to watch most of the company's channels at no extra cost. Charges will still be applied to Pay-Per-View, seasonal sports packages and HDTV services.

Sales manager for Bermuda CableVision, Rollin Nathan said: "We love our customers, and this is our way of saying happy holidays from our family to yours."

He added: "It's also our way of thanking them for being our customers. We enjoy doing this every year, and each time it seems to be more fun because we have something new to offer that we didn't have the year before.

"For example, we have recently added six new channels to our HBO and Cinemax line-ups, which now have 14 channels in all, including HBO Family West, HBO Comedy and HBO Zone, plus WMAx, 5StarMax and ThrillerMax, so customers will want to check out all of those new additions.

"They can also access everything that's happening on ShowTime, TMC, and Starz, as well as the very popular SportsMax. So it will be a full season of great TV and we hope everyone enjoys it, as families and friends come together over the holidays."
