The United Bermuda Party candidate for Southampton West Central, Charlie Swan, is hosting an economic forum tonight at Port Royal School gym.

Starting at 7.30, the speakers will include Shadow Finance Minister Bob Richards, international business consultant Eugene Saunders and Shadow Works and Engineering Minister Pat Gordon-Pamplin, also a former Shadow Finance Minister.

Mr. Swan said the evening was a chance to help provide analysis and ideas to families trying to manage during these difficult financial times.

"Our aim with the forum is to provide people with a straightforward analysis of what is going on with the economy and helpful ideas on what families can do to manage and protect their finances in tough economic times," he said.

Mr. Richards will provide an overview of the economy and the expectations for the months ahead. Mr. Saunders will address views and concerns about the economy and Mrs. Gordon-Pamplin will outline what families and small businesses can do to prepare for tough times ahead.

Their presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
