Cell phone, laptops stolen from youth centre
There were two burglaries reported to Police on Thursday morning.
A cell phone and two laptops were reported stolen from The Centre on Angle Street in Pembroke. Police attended The Centre where the complainant said that sometime between 7.50 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. on Thursday, an unknown culprit broke into an office on the premises.
The culprit stole a black Dell laptop computer, a black Toshiba laptop computer and a Motorola cellular phone.
Police also attended a Mid Ocean Drive, St. George's premises that morning, where it was reported that food and alcohol was stolen.
The complainant told Police that sometime between 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. on Thursday, an unknown culprit or culprits broke into a snack bar on the property and stole several food items, a bottle of Cockspur rum and 9 cartons of Marlboro cigarettes.
Inquiries into both this incident are underway.
