Cox to speak at BIBA's New York conference
Finance Minister Paula Cox will be travelling to New York next week to take part in the Bermuda International Business Association's Annual Financial Services Conference.
The event, which will take place at the Harvard Club in New York on Tuesday September 30, will see Ms Cox join some of Bermuda's top financial service representatives to highlight business developments and opportunities on the Island.
Ms Cox will deliver the keynote address to the group and will reinforce the message of Bermuda's solid reputation for being a top destination for doing business, as well as discussing the current economic climate, how it is affecting the Island and what it is doing to adjust to the trickle down effects.
"This is a very timely gathering of some of the best minds in the business.
"We expect this to be an invaluable opportunity for private and public sector agencies to come together and promote Bermuda's stellar reputation to our friends overseas," she said.
