The twin by-election date -- revealed in The Royal Gazette a week ago -- is to replace former Health and Social Services Minister Clarence Terceira (Pembroke West) and ex-PLP MP turned Independent Trevor Woolridge, both of whom quit politics at the end of last year. Nomination day will be on Monday, February 9, with an advance poll being held on Tuesday, February 17.

Pembroke West residents will vote at Admiralty House, while Hamilton East voters will cast their ballots at the Holy Trinity Church Hall. The Parliamentary Register published in June last year will be used for the poll.
