Police, yesterday, confirmed the death of 59-year old Vincent Franklin of Pembroke.

Mr. Franklin was found lying on the ground in an unresponsive state near the west gate of North Village field around 8.40 p.m. on Tuesday. He was pronounced dead.

Police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and an autopsy is anticipated.

The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
