So far the jury has heard that Police detectives observed Trevor Morain, Alvin Francois and another man walk onto Parliament Street, remove one parcel each from their waist and hide them in some trees.
Some hours later one of the men is said to have returned and picked up two of the packages. When he was about to retrieve the third one, Police arrested him.
Morain hails from Grenada and Francois is from St. Lucia. Both have been charged with possessing and handling three pounds of cannabis worth around $64,000, with intent to supply. The offence is alleged to have occurred on June 18, 1996.
The case continues today before Puisne Judge Norma Wade.
