Three appliances and crews arrived on the scene at about 12.30 p.m. on Monday and discovered a pile of clothes had been left in a dryer and were smoldering.

Lieutenant Jon Thompson of the Fire Service told The Royal Gazette crews removed the clothes and extinguished the pile outside. Damage is estimated at $600.
