Publishers and producers will have to deliver a copy of each new publication to Bermuda National Library under new legislation aimed at preserving Bermuda's heritage in decades to come.
Books, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, films and DVDs are just some of the items covered in the Legal Deposit Act, to which Culture Minister Dale Butler gave a second and third reading in the House of Assembly yesterday.
Mr. Butler said the law would help the library build a comprehensive collection of national works.
