A laptop, cash and jewellery were stolen from a Smith's home on Wednesday.

Police were told that sometime between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., a thief stole Toshiba laptop computer, a quantity of cash and an item of jewellery.

Jewellery was also stolen from a home on Slip Point Lane, St. George's while the owner was away.

Inquiries into both incidents are underway.
