A presentation aimed at educating Bermudians about marijuana use on the Island and its consequences is to be held next week.

The presentation, titled "Marijuana: The Myths The Facts", will be given by the Founder and Executive Officer of Global Health Care, Andrea Grubb Barthwell.

Along with discussing the size and extent of the local marijuana problem, the presentation will tackle common misconceptions about the drug, while addressing the medical and social ramifications of drug use.

The presentation, organised by the Department for National Drug Control, will be held at the Bermuda College Lecture Hall on July 28, at 6 p.m.
