Police spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said a the Warwick victim was walking among the crowds gathered on Court, Angle and Ewing Streets around 11 p.m.

Monday when the incident took place.

The man communicated to Police that for no apparent reason he was stabbed in his left side by a man riding a pedal cycle.

Medical staff at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital deemed the injury was not life threatening.

Police inquiries are continuing.
