Man pleads guilty to playing loud music
St. George's man $250 yesterday.
But 30-year-old Clifton Anderson denied he was at home that day and only pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court "to make this easy''.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis heard that Police had received several reports about loud music coming from Anderson's Wellington Slip Road home starting around 4 p.m. on December 24, last year.
Prosecutor Sgt. Philip Taylor said Police made several visits to the home and Anderson was warned to turn down the music at 10 p.m.
At 10 p.m. further reports were made to Police and officers went to the house at 10.15 p.m.
Sgt. Taylor said the music could be heard along Wellington Slip Road.
Anderson told officers: "Go ahead and report me. My name is Clifton Anderson.'' Yesterday he told Mr. Francis: "It wasn't really my fault. I plead guilty just to make it easy. It was my equipment, but not my house.''
