A man suffered suspected head injuries when he lost control of his auxiliary cycle in Middle Road, Paget, around 4.45 a.m on Saturday.

According to the Police, the 30-year-old man from Warwick appears to have struck a sidewalk near the junction with Valley Road and fallen to the ground.

No other vehicles were involved.

The man was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was said to be in a stable condition yesterday.
