Residents are invited to submit nominations for the upcoming Public Health Awards.

This year's event will recognise "a professional person and an organisation whose work has contributed to the health and well-being of women in Bermuda", a Government spokesperson said.

"Nominees may be involved in the promotion of various initiatives and awareness campaigns related to women's issues; contributing to women's needs as a health care provider; contributing to improvements in women's services, and any other activity in any field of women's health.

Deadline for nominations is Tuesday, March 31. Winners will be announced at the Public Health Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 9.
