A traffic crackdown resulted in the Police issuing more than 80 tickets and making two arrests over the weekend.
According to a press statement yesterday, a "Strategic Traffic Enforcement Program" was launched last Tuesday.
Officers have been targeting people who speed, have unfastened helmets, illegal tint on their windows and illegal license plates. In addition to the resulting tickets over the weekend, the two arrests were for stolen cycles and fraudulent documents.
A Police spokesman added that 21 vehicles were stolen over the course of the week - six of which were not locked.
