Police investigate three burglaries
Thieves made off with cash, jewellery and electronic equipment from homes across the Island this week.
According to Police, a quantity of cash and two cellular phones were stolen from a St. George's property last weekend and a quantity of electronic equipment was stolen from a Pembroke property sometime between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6.30 p.m. Wednesday.
In a separate incident, Police were called to a Fourth Avenue, Pembroke home where a man initially heard noises from a downstairs apartment.
As the man went to investigate the noises, he saw two men exit the property empty-handed, and drive away on a motorcycle.
He described the pair as brown-skinned, approximately 5ft 7in. At the time, they were wearing hooded tops and helmets.
Officers also reported a burglary at a Paddock Drive, Warwick residence. According to the complainant, someone broke into her apartment while it was unoccupied and made off with a quantity of cash and jewellery.
