A disturbance at Southampton Rangers Club left a bouncer with a cut lip at the weekend.

In the second incident at the sports club in just over a week, a fight broke out at 2.55 a.m. on Saturday. It follows reports of gunshots being fired at 1.30 a.m. on Friday, June 19.

The Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: "Details about what occurred remain unclear, however one of the security personnel, a 22-year-old Southampton man, received a laceration to his bottom lip.

"Inquiries into this incident are underway."
