Police are appealing for help to find a 55-year-old homeless man who has been missing for some time. Officers say they are concerned for his wellbeing.

St. Clair McDonald Augustus was last seen on February 26 in the Friswells Hill, Devonshire area.

A Police statement said: "He is known to frequent the Salvation Army on North Street, Pembroke, and was also sleeping in a container in that area.

"We have reason to be concerned for his well-being and would like to locate Mr. Augustus as a matter of urgency."

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Augustus is encouraged to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295 0011.
