Ten firemen rushed to the fire on Harvey Road, Paget shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday.

It took them half an hour to put out the blaze, a spokesman said. Arson has not been ruled out.

The boat, owned by Mr. Jason Pimental, was to have been in the Round-the-Island Powerboat Race on August 13.
