The cleaning lady at a Trinity Church Road residence showed officers where the culprit had tried to gain entry as well as where he had achieved access.

The upper rooms of the house were completely ransacked and two bottles of beer had been stolen from the refrigerator.

They also were called to investigate break-ins at residences in Pembroke and Paget where an undisclosed quantity of cash was stolen.

The first incident occurred on Monday morning at a Grasmere Road home and the second at a Southcote Road sometime between 7.30 p.m. and 9.15 p.m. on Monday.

WOMAN SUFFERS BROKEN SHOULDER AC Woman suffers broken shoulder A St. George's resident suffered a broken shoulder and other injuries after a single-vehicle accident yesterday morning.

The 32-year-old woman was riding east on St. David's Road when her rear tyre exploded as she attempted to negotiate a bend.

She lost control and fell into the street, causing her to break her right shoulder and receive injuries to her head, leg and elbow.

US VISITOR HURT IN ACCIDENT TOU AC US visitor hurt in accident A visitor from Chicago was injured when he failed to properly negotiate a road bend.

The single-vehicle accident occurred on Monday evening on Mullet Bay Road in St. George's.

The man subsequently hit the curb and fell off. He suffered a fractured arm, scraped legs, and a deep gash on one of his knees.
