Tornado disrupts Bermuda vs Canada match

A freak tornado dashed Bermuda Under-19 cricket team's hopes of qualifying for the World Cup on Saturday, slightly injuring two players and sending others dashing for cover.

The match at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in Toronto was abandoned with Bermuda just five runs away from clinching a spot in next year's Under-19 World Cup.

All-rounder Jordan DeSilva and assistant coach Clevie Wade both suffered mild injuries after being struck by flying debris while a local fan escaped serious injury when the tree came crashing down beside her.
