The Department of Tourism and Bermuda Hotel Association have partnered to offer tourists several discounts to entice them to Bermuda's shores this summer.

Here is a look at just some of the offers on hand

• The '6,5,4' campaign offered up to $600 off hotel bills for UK visitors who booked their travel early. Any holiday booked between March 16 and April 15 received a $600 credit; $500 if booked between April 16 and May 15 and $400 if booked between May 16 and June 15.

• UK residents were offered free round-trip tickets on British Airways as an incentive to marry here.

• The Sizzling Summer promotion offered US tourists between $400 and $600 off their hotel bill if they booked a holiday early. The six hotels that spoke with The Royal Gazette are participating in this promotion

• The Endless Summer promotion offered a free night at several hotels if visitors booked for more than three days between July 5 and October 31. In addition guests receive a coupon for a free entree at several restaurants across the Island. The six hotels that spoke with The Royal Gazette are participating in this promotion.

Hotels have also offered other deals to entice visitors, such as complimentary spa coupons.

• Tucker's Point has offered an additional incentive for people coming mid-week before August 22 guests who stay three days between Sunday and Thursday receive a complimentary night. The hotel has also offered families 50 percent off a second room for children under 18 as well as a free spa treatment, four tickets to Crystal Caves and a one-hour junior golf clinic.

• Elbow Beach has offered a $75-a-day credit at their spas and restaurants for guests staying more than two days.

• The Reefs has offered 28 percent off breakfast for guests of their superior, deluxe and premier rooms. It also offers a Roman Package for a couple staying more than six days which includes spa treatment, meals, champagne and other perks.

• Newstead Belmont Hills is also offering a Romance Package and a Stay-and-Play package, both of which have perks.

• Fairmont Southampton offers several packages. Among them, a family package, food-and-wine package, bed-and-breakfast package and golf package, all of which add various complementary services with the room rate.

• Fairmont Hamilton also offers several packages a family package gives 50 percent off a second room, there's a celebration package, culture package, bed-and-breakfast package and golf package. Each package offers various complementary services.
