Hurricane Danielle became Tropical Storm Danielle yesterday, but forecasters expect the system to regain hurricane status this morning.

While the Bermuda Weather Service still expect the storm to miss the Island, passing to the east over the weekend, they warned that it was still too early to be certain.

"When it got downgraded, there was a bit of a change in its track," said a spokesman for the service. "Models now show it coming a little closer to the Island, but there's still some uncertainty."
