Police last night issued an advisory on the stretch of road, between Harrington Hundreds and the Devil's Hole junction, described as "very, very dangerous''.

The road, leading from the west, to the John Smith's Bay area dramatically collapsed yesterday due to storm surge from Hurricane Gert.

Work crews from the Ministry of Works and Engineering will early this morning begin repairs which are expected to be finished sometime today.

Only emergency service vehicles will be permitted to travel the stretch of road.
