months when she admitted to driving with more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in her blood.

Danise Endora Mayho, of Lapsley Lane, admitted the offence in Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Prosecutor Sgt. Philip Taylor said that Police were called to an accident around 7 p.m. on June 4.

Mayho had apparently fallen off of her cycle and was found lying on her back.

Police noticed that her breath smelled of alcohol. When asked if she had been drinking, she said: "I had three or four rum and cokes''.

When she took the breathalyser test, it was discovered that she had 251 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Mayho said her condition as a diabetic was partially to blame for the accident.

"I'm a diabetic, and I know I shouldn't be drinking. I didn't test my sugar before getting on the bike, and I just passed out,'' she said.
