66 road accidents

Police said that last week there were 66 reported accidents on Bermuda's roads with 25 resulting in injury and two people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

The Police continue to advise the motoring public to slow down and to use care, caution and courtesy.

Those travelling in cars are being urged to use their seatbelts at all times and people travelling on motorcycles to fasten their helmets and avoid making a third lane.

Last week 20 vehicles were stolen – six from Pembroke, three from St. George's, three each from Devonshire and Warwick, two from Hamilton Parish, and one from Devonshire, Paget and Sandys.
