Accidents on Island's roads continue to pile-up
Police reported a series of traffic accidents over the week ending Monday, November 3.
According to officers, there were 21 collisions, 49 damage only collisions and three arrests for impaired driving.
There were also 12 vehicles stolen during that period – one each in St. George's, Hamilton Parish, Devonshire and Southampton, and eight in Pembroke.
One car was stolen. The majority of the vehicles stolen were auxiliary cycles or motorcycles. Only two vehicles were recovered, one of which was the car.
The Bermuda Police Service continues to encourage the public to slow down, use their seat belts and fasten their helmets. Officers also stressed the need to use care, caution and courtesy on the Island's roads, warning those on motorcycles to avoid making a third lane.
