Two break-ins

Police are investigating two break-ins where cash and electrical goods were stolen.

Cash was taken from a Khyber Heights Lane home while the residents were out and in another incident, a portable white DVD player was removed from a Knapton Estates home.

Both incidents happened between Monday and Tuesday.

Woman injured

A 42-year-old female motorcyclist was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on Sunday after being involved in a collision with a taxi.

The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Cobbs Hill Road and Ord Road, in Warwick, resulted in the motorcyclist fracturing her knee, along with receiving abrasions on her face and arms.

The taxi driver, a 79-year-old Hamilton Parish man, sustained minor cuts on his face and arm. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
