Tourist's wallet stolen

A tourist went for a swim at Horseshoe Bay on Thursday, only to return to the beach and find her wallet missing.

The wallet had been left with her other belongings, and contained cash and personal items. Police inquiries into the incident are underway.

Flatts Village parking warning

Police are also asking drivers to make sure they use only marked parking areas in Flatts Village.

Because the road is busy and relatively narrow, illegally parked cars can make driving hazardous, especially with construction work occurring in the area. Any vehicle parked outside of a marked parking areas may be ticketed. Drivers are also asked to drive cautiously when passing through Flatts Village.
