Bikes and car collide

A 38-year-old motorcyclist suffered a broken leg after a three-vehicle road crash.The Smith's parish man, who is now in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, was travelling east on Middle Road when the collision occurred.According to Police, the man was riding near the junction with Cedars Drive when the car in front of him slowed to accommodate an oncoming vehicle escorting a large tractor-trailer. His motorcycle collided with the rear of the car and a second motorbike then collided with him.

The Smith's parish man, who is now in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, was travelling east on Middle Road when the collision occurred.

According to Police, the man was riding near the junction with Cedars Drive when the car in front of him slowed to accommodate an oncoming vehicle escorting a large tractor-trailer. His motorcycle collided with the rear of the car and a second motorbike then collided with him.

Both cycles fell to the ground. The rider of the first sustained a broken lower right leg while the rider of the second, an 18-year-old Warwick woman, suffered soreness to her chest and right knee. Her pillion passenger, also an 18-year-old woman from Warwick, sustained soreness to her left knee and ankle.

The driver of the car, a 48-year-old Pembroke man, was not injured.

None of the vehicles were extensively damaged.
