Breaking News: Bermuda crash to defeat against Uganda

Bermuda this afternoon crashed to a seven wicket defeat in their four-day Intercontinental Shield game against Uganda.

Davis Arinaitwe (31) hit the winning runs for the tourists who needed just 40 minutes after tea to complete their victory.

Uganda dominated the day’s proceedings, claiming Bermuda’s last six wickets this morning for just 64 runs as the home side collapsed from 74 for four overnight to 138 all out.

The tourists made a rocky start to their run chase, losing Roger Mukasa with just two runs on the board.

But Lawrence Sematimba (39) and Arinaitwe kept their heads to give their side a win in their first ever four-day international.
