Breaking News: Vandals target church for second time

Nine tombstones have been damaged by vandals who have targeted a church for a second time.The incident happened yesterday and was the second attack at St. Peter’s Church, in St. George’s. Last week, vandals pushed over several tombstones, some dating back to the 1700s.In the latest incident Police were called to the church at 6.25 p.m.. Officers spoke to church officials who told them that earlier in the day someone had damaged the tombstones.

In the latest incident Police were called to the church at 6.25 p.m.. Officers spoke to church officials who told them that earlier in the day someone had damaged the tombstones.

A Police spokesman said: “Officers observed that nine tombstones had been disturbed. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
