Two women who beat a teenage girl with a rock and a stick were unanimously found guilty of the offence by a Supreme Court jury this afternoon.

Garrina Cann, 21, and Trimeia Roland, 22, set upon Brittany Symonds in an unprovoked attack in St. David’s on February 2.

Miss Symonds required multiple staples and stitches to her head following the incident.

The defendants were remanded into custody until October 4.

Social Inquiry Reports were ordered.
