Zoom Airlines is to operate a weekly flight from Toronto to Bermuda, it was revealed today.

Pending final approval from UK aviation authorities, Zoom will fly between Toronto and Bermuda beginning in May.

It was also revealed today that the airline will recommence its UK to Bermuda to New York flights from March 31, but that on May 22 that will change to UK to Bermuda to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The news was announced by Premier and Transport Minister Ewart Brown who said: “As we all know, healthy competition in the airline industry means lower prices for residents and visitors alike. We expect the same to be true now for people flying on the Toronto route. This is good news for a great number of people.”
