The Tynes Bay Waste Facility will accept hazardous waste drop-offs over the next two days.

The Palmetto Road, Devonshire facility will accept "compact fluorescent light bulbs, old pesticides, hobby chemicals, outdated medicines or anything with a hazardous or warning label" today and tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The next waste event is E-Waste Recycling day which is scheduled for June 13. Companies wishing to recycle E-waste may do so by appointment.
