Raymond Troy (Yankee) Rawlins was Bermuda's eleventh murder in the last 15 months.

Mr. Rawlins was gunned down inside Spinning Wheel nightclub early yesterday morning. Police have arrested one man in connection with the murder.

Since May last year 42 people have been shot in Bermuda, 11 of who died as a result of their injuries.

Those killed in include:

l On May 22, 2009 Kenwandee (Wheels) Robinson, 27, was killed when two men on a motorbike barrelled down St. Monica's Road, Pembroke, at 2.45 p.m. Police have said he was a member of the 42 gang;

l On December 9, 2009, Kumi Harford, 30, was gunned down at 5 a.m. on St. Monica's Road;

l December 15, 2009, Gary (Fingaz) Cann, 22, was murdered outside a private home on Sound View Road in Sandys;

l December 17,2009, Shane Minors, 30, was shot dead on Friswell's Hill at 6.30 a.m.;

• On January 3, 2010, Perry Puckerin, 34, was murdered in at Hamilton Workingmen's Club at 9.30 p.m.;

• On March 20, 2010, Jamaican national James Lawes, 26, died after he was shot multiple times outside Place's Place on Dundonald Street the day before;

• On April 2, 2010, Kimwandae Walker, 35, was shot dead in front of his kids during a family fun day on Good Friday at Victor Scott School;

l On May 5, 2010, Jamaican George Lynch was gunned down outside a Midland Heights Crescent home;

l On May 29, 2010, Dekimo (Purple) Martin, 24, was shot dead at his family home on Peacock Crescent in Sandys;

• On June 14, 2010, Frederick Maybury, 34, was shot multiple times outside Woody's Sports Bar on Malabar Road.

l On August 9, 2010, Raymond Troy (Yankee) Rawlins was murdered in Spinning Wheel nightclub.

There are currently four people before the courts for gun related murders.

Antonio Myers, 25, was charged with Kumi Harford's murder while Kevin Warner, 20, was charged with murdering Dekimo Martin in Peacock Crescent. Ronniko Burchall, 22, of Pembroke and Leroy Simons, 20, of Warwick were charged with the murder of Shane Minors.

They are currently awaiting their trials at Westgate Corrections Facility.
