Four guns, 170 rounds of ammunition – man faces court charges

A man accused of importing four firearms and 170 rounds of ammunition into the Island appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Kershun Dublin, 24, of North Shore Road, in Pembroke, was charged with conspiring with persons unknown to import into the Island four firearms, namely a Glock 19, a 357 handgun, a 91038 revolver and a 32 revolver between dates unknown and April 28.

Dublin is also charged with conspiring to import 170 rounds of ammunition and the controlled drug cannabis onto the Island during the same time.

He was not required to enter a plea yesterday as the matter in indictable only and must be heard in Supreme Court.

Dublin, who was represented in court by lawyer Larry Scott, will be kept in Police custody until his next mention date in Magistrates' Court on July 30.
