A truck driver for The Royal Gazette caught driving while disqualified was handed ten demerit points yesterday in Magistrates' Court.

Blair Norman Richardson, 23, of Smiths Avenue, Warwick, admitted that on June 20 while on Kindley Field Road he was driving while disqualified.

Richardson had previously been taken off the road for 24 months after speeding at more than 90 mph, the Court heard.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner also fined Richardson $800 for the offence.
