Girl passenger, 4, hurt in bike crash

A four-year-old pillion passenger was taken to hospital for treatment after the rider of the motorcycle she was on lost control of his bike.
The 30-year-old Pembroke man was also taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment – but was subsequently released and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
The accident took place at approximately 9.40 p.m. Saturday at the junction of Middle Town Road and King Street, in Pembroke.
According to Police, the man sustained abrasions to his body and legs. His passenger, a four-year-old girl from Sandys, sustained abrasions to her head and body. The cycle received "moderate damage."
